I am entering my 9th year in education. I have worked many
roles in the school system; teacher, paraprofessional, substitute, resident
substitute, tutor and volunteer. Before I worked in education, I worked in a
Recreation Management/Youth Leadership capacity through various youth camps.
My family consists of my husband, Kris, and my 2 amazing daughters, Cassidy (currently a senior at RPHS) and Hallie (currently 8th grader at Baines Middle School). When not teaching, I am usually running my girls around to their various activities including competitive cheerleading. We love music, movies and hanging out at home.

I grew up in Fort Bend ISD, attending Lantern Lane
Elementary, Quail Valley Junior High and Dulles High School until my family
moved into Houston, where I attended Lamar High School. I moved to California
the summer before my senior year and graduated from Dana Hills High School.
I started my college education at San Diego State University, but graduated from BYU with a degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership. Shortly after my girls started school, I received my teaching certification. I am certified in: Generalist EC-8, Health, ESL, Gifted and Talented, Life Science and Composite Science.
I have worked at RPHS since we opened. The first year, I was the Resident Substitute and last year I was a paraprofessional in Special Education. I received teaching offers at other schools, but waited for the right position here at Ridge Point because, for me, its home away from home. I am a proud Panther!!
This year, I am teaching Biology. I coach JV Cheer and Destination Imagination (Go Team Quack Tape!). Team Quack Tape went to the Globals competition this year where we received 4th place in the world! I am also one of the Senior Class Advisors for the Class of 2014.

I love being a Panther and believe in the integrity and high
standards we practice here on a daily basis. It is my joy and privilege to work
towards helping these students become scholars and champions. It is my goal to
enrich their lives every day in many ways, as they do mine.
